Julia Grayson
Julia Grayson was born in Trenton, NJ in 1990. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She works primarily with charcoal on fabric, creating abstracted photorealistic life-sized works. Julia’s artwork serves as a vehicle to access her own desires for freedom. Her drawings depict the mesmerizing power of feminine sensuality. She finds deep meaning in drawing her close friends and people in her community, creating space for them to feel uninhibited and free.
Julia studied at the School of Visual Arts, and graduated in 2012 with a BFA in Graphic Design. She has exhibited work at the Affordable Art Fair in New York, Hamburg, and Hong Kong. In 2021 she exhibited in Artleader’s “The Truth About Me” show at Donna Karen’s Urban Zen.
